~Oceans~

This song gets me every stinkin' time. Seriously it is hard to drive with tear-filled eyes.
Read & Listen.
You will be blessed!

                                                                "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)"

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior

I will call upon Your Name
Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours and You are mine

Happy Sweet 16 Sydnie

SIXTEEN...

Oh. Yeah! My 2nd child has hit this mile marker. 16. It's just crazy how that number makes you wish you hadn't blinked. Just yesterday you were coloring your body with a sharpie and painting the cat. And then... You grew up into a beautiful young lady. I am so grateful that God saw fit for me to be your Mama. You are strong, intelligent, crazy, funny, weird, & beautiful inside & out. You make me laugh when I'm mad (which just makes me madder by the way), you lighten the room when the grumpiness has taken over, and you love love love to serve others. Thank you for helping people in our community, for loving people like crazy, and for thinking of ways to serve the people around us. You're always a step ahead, always plotting & planning, always keeping me on my toes. Ha! Your the master of baking, the master of wrangling a lot of kids, and the master of your heart. Thank you for everything you do to LOVE our family. We love you like crazy & love seeing God working in your life.

Happy 16th Birthday Sydnie!!!

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

Welcome to the double digits Tate!

Happy Birthday to this Crazy Boy!!!

I seriously can't imagine what our family would be like without you. I love the way you make us all laugh, I love the way you want to know how every little thing works, I love how you ask a ba-jillion questions about EVERYTHING, and I love how fiercely you LOVE the people around you. You are a mighty young man of God & I LOVE seeing how God is using you!!! Thank you for putting things in perspective like you do so well. Thank you for showing us the funny in things when things don't seem so funny. And thank you for reminding us that love & laughter make things better. I pray that you continue to learn to love God more every day & that you always know you are loved by God & by your family.

Welcome to the double digits Dude!!!

Happy 10th Birthday!

Love,

Dad, Mom, Lacey, Sydnie, Baylie, Jonathan, Charlie, Emmy, Levi & Kenlie

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.  Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.  Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. ~Psalm 127:3-5
